Meet the team behind Somerset West. 📚✨

Behind every test result, breakthrough and “I finally get it!” moment is a team of tutors who genuinely care about helping students grow in confidence.

There's Jaques, who has been with MasterMaths for 15 years, and then Pierre and Catharina, Somerset West locals of 30 and 24 years respectively.

Together, they make up a team that is passionate about more than just marks – they are invested in seeing our children thrive. 💛

The West Village Garden and Thomas House of Hope are calling for our help, Somerset West 📢

For more than a decade, the SWVG has partnered with Thomas House of Hope to create pathways out of homelessness through a work-based programme in the garden.

The next step is crucial: helping programme graduates find real employment opportunities. Local businesses and residents are encouraged to consider offering work experience, internships or even stipend-based opportunities to help participants build their CVs and take the next step towards sustainable employment.
