Barista work is more than making coffee. It needs confidence, consistency, customer service, and understanding how a coffee shop works. This course will prepare you for real job opportunities.

A glimpse into yesterday’s Product Photography Workshop, where creativity met practice and everyday objects became something worth capturing.

The participants moved from theory into a hands-on practical session. From understanding light, composition and styling, to applying it in real time, each person had the chance to experiment and see how small adjustments can make a big difference to a product image.

These moments reflect what we love most, people learning by doing, sharing ideas, and building skills they can take forward into their own work and future online shops.

Learning in Action at Graceland Educare

At Graceland Educare, children recently took part in a snake awareness and reptile education demonstration hosted by . The session helped learners understand how to stay safe when encountering snakes in their environment, while also giving them a memorable hands-on learning experience.

Albertus Koorts, Thembalitsha Foundation Operational Manager, reflected:

“Attending the snake and reptile educational show at Graceland was both an incredibly enjoyable and valuable experience, as it was evident that both staff and children learned a great deal especially about how to respond safely when encountering a snake.

The unique opportunity to touch and interact with the snakes and other animals was truly a one-of-a-kind experience for the children adding to the excitement and making the day even more memorable.
