From its source high in the Hottentots Holland mountains to the sea, the Lourens river provides fresh water, support incredible healthy. 🌿 New WebApp Launched on Nelson Mandela Day! 🌿

LRCS proudly launched a new WebApp on Nelson Mandela Day. While promoting community involvement, education and awareness around the Lourens River, the App enables anyone, anywhere to submit instant reports via a Quick Survey and to Share Sightings or Report Issues.

Register once at https://lourensriver.org to find out more about this Protected Natural Environment, or to become a River Champion or River Monitor.

Today we’re rolling up our sleeves and giving back to a place that means so much to our community… the Lourens River.

We’re excited to share another milestone too. Today we’re officially launching the Lourens River Conservation Society app! 📱

The app gives everyone an easy way to report pollution, stay informed about what’s happening along the river, and become part of protecting this incredible natural space.

If you’re joining us this morning, we’ll meet at the Parking Notice Board at Radloff Park at 09:00. Don’t forget your gloves, boots and secateurs.

Whether you’re joining the clean-up, downloading the app, or simply sharing our message, thank you for helping us make a difference.
