Together, we can create safe spaces, listen with kindness, and stand up for those who cannot always speak for themselves. A caring community can change a child’s life. 🤍

This month was filled with meaningful moments as we hosted 3 special programmes within our community 🤍

Two sessions focused on Child Sexual Abuse & Neglect awareness, while another reminded us of the importance of family, love, support, and standing together through life’s challenges.

Thank you to every parent, child, and community member who joined us and helped create a safe and caring space for these conversations. Together we can build stronger families and brighter futures for our children. 🫂

✨ Meet Our New Team Members ✨

ACVV Somerset East is excited to officially welcome our new Social Worker Sonita Kayster and Social Auxiliary Worker Amber Kumm , who joined our team in April 2026. We look forward to the passion, care, and support they will bring to our community. 💙

At the same time, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our previous Social Worker Ida Jordaan and Admin Louise du toit, on their retirement. Thank you for your years of dedication, hard work, and service to ACVV Somerset East and the community. We wish you all the best in this new chapter ahead. 🌸

🌟 On 21 April 2026 we had the privilege of presenting an important program at William Oats Primary School, to the Grade 7 learners focused on anti-bullying. 💙✨

It was inspiring to see the students actively participating, asking questions, and learning practical ways to stand up against bullying. Together, we can create safer, kinder schools! 💪📚
