Thohoyandou Victim Empowerment Programme (TVEP) TVEP offers an integrated range of prevention, empowerment and support services to address and combat sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse and HIV.

There is no excuse for abuse! Our programme is rights-based, and covers the Thulamela municipality, with a population of 585,000 (Census 2001). It accommodates one regional and two district hospitals, 48 clinics, 3 health centres, 7 police stations and satellites, and 500+ crèches, schools and tertiary education facilities, accommodating an estimated 220,000 children and learners.
