A message from Lion Alison who was away for Zwaai's service on Tuesday.

"Zwaai, I cannot imagine a Lions meeting or function without you there chirping in the background making us all laugh. Your "Zwaainisms" will never be forgotten. You were my lifesaver when I had my first stint as President-- and I am sure you were gatvol of me calling you for advice- but you always gave me your opinion as only you could!! There is going to be a very empty space in our Lions club and I will miss you too much. My sincere condolences to Carrie, Luke, Kyla and Jade and the 2 little boys. Rest in peace dear Zwaai-- free of pain and suffering. ❤️❤️"

We, as Sedgefield Lions, are proud and happy to be associated with the fabulous Santa Shoebox Project.

Santa Shoebox was started in Cape Town in 2006 with 180 Shoebox pledges. To date the number of children who have been gifted stands at 1,378,072!

We need another 120 pledges for our Sedgefield children. Please open your 💕 and pledge before 30 October.

A pledge is a promise!
