We are a social club for over 50's who enjoy getting together for meals, events, outings.

n line with the highest moral principles of mankind. We work with vigour to enrich lives, raise self-esteem and influence society to support these ideals. The Sedgefield Branch of SAARP is one of many social clubs across South Africa which has a membership fee of R50 per year which enables us to function as a club providing regular newsletters, events, meetings and on occasion we are able to subsidise some events to our members. Just a reminder that if all is well on power then Canasta will go ahead on Tuesday 19th May. 2pm at Legends Sports Bar
Please if you are interested in joining the group and not currently on Lesley's whatsapp group then please send her a message with your name to 083 573 9100 so she can add you and keep you informed.

Also, The Casino trip to Mossel Bay is confirmed for Thursday 25th June and the coach price is R250 per person. There is room for 2 more people to join.
Remember the Casino itself is free entry and there is a bistro on site with reasonable prices as well as the main restaurant.
Lesley is also organising this one so please contact her on the number above to join the trip.

Tomorrow is the first Tuesday in May, what does that mean?....it means its BINGO. 2.30 at Legends Sports Bar. Everyone welcome, bring a friend.
Also I will be taking monies for the Breakfast to be held on 21st May.

Last Wednesday to find me at Daily Grind Cafe for renewals and new members, 2 til 4pm today. Also a chance to book and pay for the Breakfast on Thursday 21st May. Check your newsletters for all the details. After this I will be as usual available at home by whatsapp 079 905 0177 to make an appointment. for memberships I need R50 per person and your ID.

Membership renewal is now well overdue, our year starts 1st March.

A reminder that SUBS ARE OVERDUE. There are still some members who have not yet renewed their membership for the March 2026 year. For this reason I will again be sitting at The Daily Grind cafe between 2 and 4 today and each Wednesdsay throughout April.
If you cannot make it on those days you can still try me at home by whatsapping me to check I'm home.

EVENTS TO REMEMBER
Music Quiz on Thursday 26th Feb 5pm . Last chance to book yor seat. Legends Sports Bar will have their usual menu available to order and the cash Bar. Whatsapp to Jan to Secure your place.

AGM on Tuesday 10th March 5pm at Legends Sports Bar, Free to members. Cash Bar. A delicious supper will be served and Alan and Shelley will entertain us. Book your place for catering to Jan.

OUTENIQUA POWERVAN
HARTENBOS TO GLENTANA PICNIC TRIP
booked for Wednesday 16th April
Price: R240.00 per person but for bookings of over 20 members the cost will be R190 per person (VAT Included).
Where: The train departs from Hartenbos station to a viewpoint above Glentana.
Details: On the way back, we stop for 30 minutes at a scenic spot for a picnic and a toilet facility.
Bring: OWN SNACKS AND DRINKS and maybe a towel or cushion. The picnic bench might be a bit moist.
What to Wear: Seasonal wear. It can be cool and windy.
Departure: Hartenbos station Port Natal Avenue.
More details to follow once the booking has been finalized.
Send Maureen a Whatsapp to 082 578 2938 to secure your booking. Send name and surname as well as cell number of all members travelling. Details regarding payment will be sent to you when you make your booking. Upfront payment is required. Please note that we can only take 28 members on this trip. Bookings open for members only unless we do not reach the required number of members then we will open it to friends etc.
