Its "Wayback Wednesday" time, and this corner is unrecognisable from when we started "reviving" it back in 2023.

With the monthly support of PROP1 Garden Route we are able to keep it maintained and cared for.

Watch this space for a cute little upgrade on this corner, coming soon!

🌿 THE LITTER CREW – CLEAN-UP NO. 2! 🌿

Despite the gloomy weather this afternoon, our team got out there and got the job done!

5 dedicated volunteers collected 8 bags of litter! A fantastic effort and another step towards a cleaner Sedgefield.

Today we cleaned along Main Service Road, from the traffic lights at TotalEnergies garage all the way to VDM Bistro. We then made a quick stop at the section we tackled during our first clean-up to pick up some new litter that had accumulated there.

A huge thank you to the volunteers who gave up their time this afternoon. Your willingness to pitch in is truly appreciated! Every helping hand makes a difference.

Let's keep the momentum going and continue making Sedgefield a cleaner place for everyone.

Thank you, Team Litter Crew! You're making a wonderful difference! 👏

*If you would like to be part of the Litter Crew contact us and we will add you to the Litter Crew WhatsApp group for future clean ups*

Thank you to Sedgefield Bowling Club for the fabulous fun start of the October Barefoot Bowls competition.

The Rolling Revivettes had some great shots and won their match 11- 7. Thank you to the "Smileys" for being such good sports!

Always good to fit in some R & R with the team!

🌿 THE LITTER CREW – FIRST CLEAN-UP! 🌿

What a fantastic start to The Litter Crew!

Team leader Karen Tarr reports:

We had 8 amazing volunteers who pitched up this morning.

Together, we managed to collect 9 bags of litter!

In just 1½ hours, the team cleaned the entire stretch of Main Service Road from the traffic lights at the TotalEnergies garage all the way to the end of the Spar parking lot. That’s a lot of litter removed and a much cleaner stretch of Sedgefield!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along and gave their time this morning. Every pair of hands really does make a difference. And this is just the beginning! We hope to see even more volunteers joining us for our next clean-up.

Well done to The Litter Crew team!

...are we crazy...yes...but we got the job done anyways ;-)

An amazing effort by our team of volunteers today. In temperatures up to 33 degrees, we managed to cover the whole Sedgefield playpark with much-needed lawn dressing after the hollow tining and fertilizing last week. JOB DONE!

A wonderful afternoon and amazing collaboration with Ecolution, Sedgefield Island Conservancy, Sedgefield Prescious Tree committee and our fabulous community and Knysna Municipality.

We planted over 30 trees together!

A BIG THANK YOU to the Sedgefield Fire Station with helping out with water and also for joining in with the planting.

This is what community is all about...and we just love it!

Happy Heritage day!
