A Boxer employee was forced to go to work on her graduation day. 👩‍🎓💔

She asked the Boxer management team for a day off so she could attend her ceremony, but they refused. Management said they once gave her a day off three years ago to write her final exams, and because of that, they claim they cannot give her another day off to celebrate her graduation.

They told her she must either come to work or leave her job permanently if she chooses to attend her graduation. 😭

Because she is the only one working in her family.. supporting her mom, dad, two younger sisters, her three unemployed brothers, and her four children...she couldn’t risk losing her job.

So she made the painful decision to go to work wearing her graduation gown, even though this was supposed to be the proudest moment of her life. She would have been the first person in her family to graduate. 💔

While at work, many of the more than 7,000 customers congratulated her and gave her tips of R100 and R200. By the end of the day, she had received over R800,000 in total.

But sadly, the management team took all the money, claiming it belonged to the store. They told her she would only receive her usual R3,500 monthly salary. 💔😭 -Allegedly
