Sadly, I have been deemed ineligible as a living donor for Conor. At this stage we are broadening our search to include potential donors of any blood group who are willing to donate a kidney to Conor. If you are interested in donating, please get in touch and we will send the Living Donor Questionnaire for you to complete. At present, we are investigating all possible options.

Today was the first time that we used Conor's new fistula. They only inserted 1 needle and used his port. Unfortunately after dialysis the fistula bleeded really badly. He is now admittted to Donald Gordon and is going to theatre to place a stich and do an angiogram.

Conor was admitted to Hospital after dialysis. He is experiencing extremely high blood pressure. His Saturation levels are once again very low and he requires oxygen. He had a chest x-ray done and will now receive BP meds every 4 hours.

Conor has been through a lot this past week. He had a sonar of his transplanted kidney on Friday after dialysis. It indicated that it has shrunk and is scarred as anticipated, with a complete loss of blood flow.
This may be linked to the persistent challenges in managing his blood pressure, despite taking four different bloodpressure medications.
Input from the transplant unit will be essential in guiding future decisions regarding the transplanted kidney.
Conor's oxygen saturation levels decreased significantly, causing him considerable anxiety to the point where he stayed awake through the night.
The chest x-ray performed on Monday confirmed that he has lung infection.

We are so thankful for Sunninghill Santa's generosity in spreading Christmas spirit among the children undergoing treatment during the festive season.
It turned Conor's tears into a smile!

Conor was moved to a more tranquil pediatric ward where he will be under constant observation. He is still on oxygen and antibiotics for an infection, and his blood pressure remains unusually high. We extend our gratitude to everyone for their love and support throughout this trying week.
