Presenting Dr. Brian Nook, a distinguished chiropractor and educator with over 40 years of experience spanning clinical practice, sports chiropractic, research and academic leadership.
Brian graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minnesota, USA, in 1983. Throughout his career, he has held senior academic leadership positions in the United States and Australia, including Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Palmer College of Chiropractic West and School Dean for Chiropractic and Sports Sciences at Murdoch University.
His extensive sports chiropractic experience includes working with athletes and sporting teams at local, national and international levels. He has been involved in four Olympic Games, three All-African Games and six editions of The World Games, contributing to the care and support of athletes on the international stage.
Education has remained a central focus throughout his career, with extensive teaching experience in chiropractic technique, clinical evaluation, manual skills and sports chiropractic at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has also contributed to curriculum development, research and the mentorship of future chiropractors through his academic appointments and involvement in FICS education programmes.
Brian’s dedication to advancing clinical skills, chiropractic education and international sports chiropractic makes him a valuable contributor to the profession and the development of future generations of sports chiropractors.
