A protest action has been reported on the R41 between Badshani Drive and K13 in the Reitvallei/Azaadville area. The road is blocked by tyres and debris.

Motorists are advised to avoid the affected area where possible and use alternate routes.

A fire has been reported at a warehouse on EP Malan Road near Mimosa Road in the Pomona area.

Emergency Services are en route. Members of the public are advised to avoid the immediate area and keep access routes clear to allow emergency crews to carry out their duties safely.

Club Street has been reported as temporarily closed between Victoria Ave and Huddle Crescent in the Bedford/Sandringham area due to a serious MVA.

All services are on scene and traffic is currently being diverted.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes until the scene is cleared.

Community Safety Awareness: Theft of Vehicles – Gauteng

Community-reported incidents over recent months indicate an increase in the theft of *Nissan Navara* vehicles across Gauteng, with newer-model vehicles appearing to be targeted in most reported incidents.

Information received indicates that key fob signal cloning and electronic signal jamming are possible methods being used to gain access to vehicles. These methods have not been confirmed in all reported incidents.

Nissan Navara owners are advised to remain vigilant and take appropriate precautions when parking or securing their vehicles.

🚁 Sandton CPF Members Complete HEMS Training

This weekend, some of our Sandton CPF members completed training with the Netcare 911 Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) team at their base in Midrand.

The training covered HEMS activations and helicopter landing zone preparation, helping our volunteers better understand how to safely support emergency teams when a medical helicopter is required.

Our members have now received training from two HEMS services in Gauteng, strengthening our ability to assist patients, response teams and our community when called upon.

A big thank you to the Netcare 911 HEMS team for sharing their knowledge and making us feel so welcome.

With our community’s continued support, we can keep training and developing our volunteers to better serve Sandton.
