We create “Magical Moments & Extra-ordinary Days” for abused, abandoned, disadvantaged, neglected, orphaned, underprivileged and vulnerable children in Johannesburg, uplifting their spirit, giving them hope and exposing them to a world beyond their own. Most of the children we reach out to come from severely financially disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds and many experience extreme trau

ma and difficulty through poverty, neglect and abuse. We give the children a chance to escape from the harsh world that they come from and live in – a chance to play, to laugh, to have fun, to indulge, to celebrate, to be children and for a magical moment, to forget.

Our annual Easter egg treat continues ... the next stop is The Light Day Care in Tenbisa - our 3rd Easter egg treat for children in the city of Johannesburg.

It's been a long while since our last visit last year. Sandra, her beautiful teachers and the delightful children always welcome FairyG, who was flying solo to Tembisa, with love and warmth. It was 29°C outside on an Autumn day, somewhat humid in what was once a dry climate. Inside the tiny classrooms, without ventilation, children all clothed for mid winter, the temperature rose to 50°C, or that's how it felt. FairyG melted! Like a melting Olaf, the snowman.

The children at the day care, and graduates who come during school holidays were all delighted with their marshmallow eggs 🥚. Everyone received 3 eggies to enjoy this Easter egg season, a luxury treat for the children, all who love chocolate.

A wish was made for ice cream. FairyG will be back to grant that wish 🤞 💫

It's that time of the year - our annual Easter egg treat for children around the city of Johannesburg.

This is our 2nd stop, Musa Day Care Centre in Tembisa, north of the city.

We always receive a warm welcome from the delightful children, Nomsa the principal, and all the teachers.

FairyG flew solo to treat the children to the luxury of chocolate, and marshmallow Easter eggs.

From year to year, the children easily pick up what FairyG has taught them for decades - the gesture of gratitude, and Love, hugs & kisses. Hundreds of thousands of children and teachers have been taught to make heart shapes, the most powerful shape of all of them.

Thank you Noms, teachers and children for your love and welcoming spirit.

Your children deserve playground equipment. May your wishes come true! 🌟💫

Easter Eggstravaganza time! It's that time of the year again, this time much earlier in the year.

Earlier this month, the children wished for chocolate. They had no idea that just two weeks later, their FairyGodmother would be granting that wish.

FairyG arrived with a plan - a treasure hunt in the garden (weather finally playing along after months of rain) and a simple request: baskets to be made for the eggies.

As always, the eggscitement begins before she even steps inside - little faces pressed to the window, eyes wide, hearts ready.

The rules were simple. Hunt for the colourful eggs, bring them back to FairyG, exchange them for a real chocolate marshmallow egg, place it carefully into their handmade baskets… and off you go again until every last egg has been found.

What followed? Pure magic.
Fresh air. Sunshine. Energy. Laughter. Purpose. Reward.

A break from the ordinary - an eggstraordinary day, true to our vision and purpose.

There was love in abundance. Declarations of “I love you” and heartfelt promises of gifting FairyG with strawberry ice cream. Obviously that would be from the girls, because, well, pink!

Stars were placed proudly on foreheads - earned through clever and correct answers, unlocking their fifth Easter egg, which was gobbled up without waiting for any instructions from teacher Marilyn or FairyG. They had worked hard for their reward and weren't waiting for another second.

They’re still a work in progress, these precious little gems. It’s only March, after all. Plenty of polishing still to come.

And just like that… another fairytale moment comes to a close.

Until we meet again after the school holidays.

The only question is — what will FairyG do next?
