ABOUT GDP CANCER FOUNDATION
Dear All
We would like to thank all of the family, friends, and the unknowns, that contributed to further our Dad's comfort in his last days here with us. We were not able to spend all the money that was donated before he passed away on Monday, 17 July 2017. It has been extremely hard and we are still coming to terms with his death. He was full of life, and full of smiles. His laugh still resonates with us. We think of him every day, and we miss him dearly.
In light of the above, and because we want Dad's legacy to remain in perpetuity, and we want to help people in his name, who also suffer from cancer, we have started The GDP Cancer Foundation. "GDP" stands for Giuseppe Di Palma (our Dad's name). We aim to live up to our slogan "You'll Never Walk Alone", Dad's favourite football club's mantra!
This Foundation is managed by the Sandton 121 Round Table of which his son Fausto Di Palma is a member. This Foundation has an international footprint and we hope to make it bigger and better to help more people.
