The winter chill is officially here, but our classrooms are keeping the energy hot.
As schools enter the final mid-year crunch ahead of the June holidays, learners and teachers across the country are pushing through assessments and final projects. It’s the toughest part of the term, but seeing the focus and absolute joy in iSchoolAfrica iPad led classes makes it all worth it.
“We saw so much engagement in this lesson - it was so fun and effective. Even the learners who usually struggle were leading the way.” - Ms Mnyanda, Grade 4 Teacher
A big shout-out to our incredible Teachers. You aren’t just managing classrooms - you are actively facilitating innovation making sure nobody gets left behind in the digital age. Your dedication is the real engine behind iSchoolAfrica and our proud collaboration with The Growsmart Educational Programme.

On Saturday, teachers from all over Gauteng gathered for our second quarterly iSchoolAfrica Saturday Teacher Workshop. The room was buzzing with energy as our iPad Champions networked, shared best practices and unlocked new creative ways to bring the classroom to life.
Teachers gained future-ready skills such as using block-code to create interactive lessons, while others mastered the art of visual storytelling using stop-motion.
But don't just take our word for it - look at this incredible feedback from one of our attendees:

"We were welcomed with so much warmth and gained valuable insight into how we can help learners learn through play, creating inclusive learning experiences for every child, including learners with autism and diverse learning needs. Every child deserves to feel seen, supported and empowered to learn in their own unique way... The future of learning is exciting and we are honoured to grow alongside it." - Nompumelelo, Practitioner Thusanang Day Care Centre

A big thank you to every teacher who dedicated their Saturday to shaping a more inclusive, creative and future-ready South Africa. The future of learning is here and it belongs to our teachers!

At Acacia Primary School, Grade R learners are confidently exploring shapes—busily filling pictures with shapes, solving problems and building strong foundational skills through play-based learning.

This moment reflects more than just engagement; it shows the impact of meaningful technology integration in the classroom. By introducing these tools from Grade R, we are intentionally bridging the gap early and setting learners up for long-term success.

A heartfelt thank you to Wind Academy for their sponsorship and continued support and to the dedicated teachers at Acacia Primary who bring this vision to life every day.
