As South Africa commemorates 70 years since the historic 1956 Women’s March, we honour the courage of the women who stood together and paved the way for generations to come.

Under this year’s theme, “Empowered Women Empower the Nation,” we are reminded that empowerment is more than personal success. It is about creating opportunities, opening doors, lifting others, and ensuring that women have a voice in the spaces where decisions are made.
