Buy a badge. End period poverty.
Keep her in school.

We are just over halfway to our goal of providing 350 Grade 8 girls at Realogile High School in Alexandra with reusable pads, and there is still time to make a real difference.

For R150, you can purchase an End Period Poverty badge, which provides a girl with 5 reusable pads that last up to 5 years, restoring dignity, confidence, and access to education.

Let’s finish what we started.
Let’s keep girls in school.

We had an incredible and successful Period Poverty Drive with Vault Strength Club🖤

The community truly showed up with generous donations of menstrual products and many members purchasing our End Period Poverty badges in support of the cause. We are deeply grateful for the love, energy, and action.

While Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Month may be over, period poverty is still a daily reality for far too many girls and women. That’s why the work continues.

Our goal is to provide menstrual wear for 350 Grade 8 girls at Realogile High School, and we are excited to be hosting this outreach in partnership with VSC during Youth Month. We are now just over halfway to our target.

There is still time to make a difference.

For R150, you can purchase an 'End Period Poverty' badge which provides a girl with 5 reusable pads that last up to 5 years, restoring dignity, confidence, and access to education.

Periods should never be the reason a girl misses out on her future.

This Menstrual Hygiene Month, Ubuntu Legacy NPC is turning awareness into real, lasting impact with our End Period Poverty Badge Campaign.

For just R150, you’re not just buying a badge, you’re helping provide a girl with a 5-year menstrual hygiene solution through reusable pads. That means more days in school, more confidence, and restored dignity.

This is more than a symbol.
It’s a statement. A stand. A shift.

We’re calling on schools, businesses, and communities to come together and be part of something bigger:
💚Break the stigma
💛Keep girls in school
🤍Create sustainable change

Wear the badge. Start the conversation. Change a life.

Let’s break the cycle. Period.

Today, as we celebrate Freedom Day, we are reminded that freedom is not just a moment in history, it is a responsibility we carry every day.

At Ubuntu Legacy, we believe true freedom means access. Access to education, to opportunity, to dignity, and to a future not defined by circumstance. While we honour how far South Africa has come, we also recognise the work still ahead.

Through every initiative, partnership, and life we touch, we are committed to breaking cycles of poverty and building a nation where freedom is lived, not just remembered.

Let’s continue to stand together, uplift one another, and create lasting change, because when one rises, we all rise.
