The Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (ZAA) UK 2026 successfully concluded this past weekend with a sold-out Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony celebrating outstanding Zimbabweans and diaspora achievers making an impact across the world.

the two-day programme featured:
- The ZAA Diaspora Investment & Skills Forum
- The ZAA Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony
bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, creatives, professionals, investors, and members of the Zimbabwean diaspora community from across the United Kingdom and beyond.
The event was attended by Zimbabwe’s Minister of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training, Hon. Tino Machakaire, who served as Guest of Honour.
During the programme, Hon. Machakaire called on the diaspora to continue playing an active role in Zimbabwe’s national development through:
- Investment
- Skills transfer
- Innovation
- Entrepreneurship
- Youth empowerment
- Diaspora engagement
The Minister also acknowledged the leadership and vision of His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa in promoting diaspora engagement and economic participation.

The ZAA Diaspora Investment & Skills Forum focused on:

- Entrepreneurship and innovation
- Artificial Intelligence and future skills

- Arts, culture and creative industries
- Real estate and infrastructure
- Youth empowerment and mentorship
The Forum featured leading speakers, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and diaspora professionals discussing opportunities for collaboration and economic growth.

The Gala Dinner & Awards recognised Zimbabweans and diaspora achievers who continue to excel in business, leadership, entrepreneurship, media, arts, innovation, community development, and professional excellence.
