What does it take to dream about a future you’ve never seen before? 💭
At the end of each six-month cycle of our Step Ahead Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programme, learners are given an opportunity to see what the skills they have been developing can look like in the real world.
Our Step Ahead Career Days help learners connect the five core SEL competencies to the lives of active citizens who lead with resilience, purpose, and impact.
These experiences create a bridge between classroom learning and future possibilities, showing learners that the skills they are building today can help shape the lives they lead tomorrow.
At Linc Foundation, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity not only to succeed academically, but to dream boldly about the future. Many of the learners we serve navigate significant social and economic challenges, making it difficult to imagine possibilities beyond what they see every day.
Career Days create space for learners to expand their horizons, discover new pathways, and begin asking deeper questions about who they are, what they care about, and how they might contribute to the world around them as active citizens.
Ultimately, these experiences are about helping young people recognise that they have the potential to live lives of purpose, meaning, and impact.
