Members of North West Women in Tourism (NWWiT) proudly participated in the Gastronomy Tourism Event hosted by the City of Matlosana Local Municipality at Goudkoppie Heritage Hill.

Our women were part of the SMMEs who showcased their culinary skills during the competitive cookery challenge, celebrating local cuisine and cultural heritage through food.

We are proud to share that Prison View won 1st place with their delicious Tshotlo, demonstrating excellence in traditional cooking. 🎉🍲

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of one of our remarkable women in the tourism industry in our province, Aus Vicky, the owner of a well-known guest house VickyB.

She was not only a businesswoman but also an inspiration to many women in tourism. Her passion, warmth, and commitment to welcoming visitors made a meaningful impact in our community and the tourism sector at large.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends, colleagues, and everyone whose lives she touched. May her soul rest in peace and may her legacy continue to inspire us all🙏🙏
