Whats your biggest funding challange? Why do 70% of new donors never give a second time?

It's not about the economy. It's not about donor capacity.

It's about how we're approaching donor relationships.

After diving deep into the latest fundraising data, the truth is clear: nonprofits are facing a retention crisis that threatens their very survival.

The numbers are sobering: • Only 18.1% of donors return • 7.1% of new donors give again • 4% lapsed donor reactivation rate • 4% average revenue decrease

But there's a path forward.

I've created this carousel to break down the 5 critical pain points in fundraising and donor relations—and more importantly, the solutions that work.

Because your mission is too important to lose donors to preventable mistakes.

Swipe through and let me know: which pain point resonates most with your experience? 👇

Big things are happening in Khayakhulu!

From 11–12 July 2025, the AmaHlubi Chairman’s Foundation and the AmaHlubi Traditional Council hosted the University of Johannesburg (UJ) in a major two-day stakeholder engagement at the Fuba II Zibi Royal Household. This marks the beginning of a powerful partnership focused on real, long-term development in the Moses Kotane Municipality.

This isn’t just talk. UJ has committed experts from its top faculties—Engineering, Agriculture, Business, and Hospitality—to work with our community on practical solutions: infrastructure, farming, youth skills, tourism, and more. What makes this special is that the development plans are driven by the community and designed to respect our culture and way of life.

The outcomes speak for themselves:
✔ A full community needs assessment
✔ A clear plan and timeline for the work ahead
✔ Systems to make sure the projects stay on track
✔ Full support from the community

This partnership shows what’s possible when traditional leadership and universities come together. Now it’s time to roll up our sleeves and start building the future—together.

Let’s keep the momentum going! 💪🏾
