Round Table Florida 21 – May Business Meeting | 7 May 2026 🔥

Our May Business Meeting was one for the books — an evening filled with true fellowship, laughter, brotherhood, and unforgettable moments.

We were deeply honoured to welcome two distinguished Past Round Table International Presidents who joined us for the evening and took on the roles of Sergeant and Corporal:
🇦🇹 Marc Germeshausen – Round Table Austria
🇿🇦 Graham Cornelissen –Round Table Southern Africa

Their presence and contribution added incredible value and spirit to the evening.

We were also proudly raided by the legends from Northridge Round Table 117, adding even more energy and camaraderie to an already outstanding evening. 🔥

Joining us on the night were:
•41er and Past Round Table Sandown 150 Chairman -Jaco Goussard.
•41er and Past RTGA & Florida 21 Chairman – Lourens Louwrens Lombard.

A highlight of the evening saw our Chairman, Phillip van Wyk III, proudly receive the legendary Buffalo Immunity Idol… only for it to change hands a mere 28 minutes later to Jaco Gousaard. Safe to say, records may have been broken! 🐃😂

Thank you to every Tabler and guest who attended and made the evening another memorable chapter in the legacy of Round Table Florida 21.🦢

What an incredible community effort! 🥫

For the past 5 years, Round Table Florida 21 and Lantern School have proudly worked together on this amazing canned food drive initiative — and this year was another huge success! 🥳 🎉

Lantern School generously donated 371 cans of food to Round Table Florida 21, amounting to approximately R9 500.00 worth of donations that will go towards helping those in need within our community.

The remainder of the cans gathered by the school will also be put to great use through Lantern School’s feeding scheme, helping support learners and families within their own community. 🏢

A massive thank you to Lantern School, every learner, and all the parents who participated and contributed to this wonderful initiative. Your generosity and support continue to make a meaningful difference year after year. 🫂

We are already looking forward to working together again next year! ❤️

🦅 Making a difference, one project at a time.

Round Table Florida 21 is proud to share that we have raised and donated R30 000 towards Vulpro , supporting their incredible work in protecting and conserving Africa’s vultures.

Vultures are often misunderstood, but they play a vital role in keeping our environment healthy. Through rescue, rehabilitation, research, breeding programmes and public awareness, VulPro continues to give these remarkable birds a fighting chance.

This project is a reminder of what Round Table stands for:

Fellowship. Service. Community. Impact.

A massive thank you to everyone who supported this initiative and helped make this contribution possible.

TABLER THURSDAY 🦢

This week we’re introducing the man leading the charge at Round Table Florida 21, our Chairman, phillipvanwyk👏🔥

By profession, Phillip is a commercial insurance broker, but his passion for leadership, brotherhood, and personal growth has made him a familiar face throughout the Round Table family.

Phillip joined Table through an old friend, Dewet Swanepoel, and nearly five years later, the journey has become one of growth, lifelong friendships, and creating an impact that can inspire the next generation of Tablers.

Over the years, Phillip has proudly served in multiple portfolios within Round Table Florida 21, including Secretary, IRO/PRO, and Clubhouse Convenor, before stepping into the role of Chairman.

His leadership journey extends far beyond the club level. Within the Round Table Gauteng, he currently serves as the Immediate Past Chairman and Action Officer, while previously holding the portfolios of IRO/PRO, Vice Chairman, and Chairman. 🌍🔥

Phillip also currently serves as the PRO for Round Table International- Africa, Middle East & Indian Ocean continuing to strengthen connections and brotherhood across borders.

Outside of Table life, Phillip enjoys spending quality time with his partner, joane_lr❤️

Project Highlight! 🌟

At Round Table, our members continue to lead meaningful projects that spread goodwill and make a lasting impact in our communities.

A recent inspiring initiative was Cleaning for Change. In partnership with Hospitality Blaque Pty Ltd, Round Table Florida 21 facilitated a generous donation of chemicals and cleaning supplies to support Gateway Village - an institution caring for physically and mentally challenged individuals, many of whom are especially vulnerable to illness.

This thoughtful contribution will help create a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment for all residents at Gateway Village.

Well done to everyone involved in making a real difference! 💙
