Queen Butterfly Foundation Activity Centre for Children & Young Adults with Profound Mental & Physical Disabilities

Julie Botha has the privilege of being the mother of a daugther with special needs called Crystal Raine, born in 1997. Her life revolves around Crystal as well as other children & adults with special needs. She was appointed Centre Manager for Queen Butterfly in November 2024 after Palesa Mofokeng, the founder, suddenly passed away. Julie is also the head psychometrist for Ormond Neuroscience at N

etcare Rehabilitation Hospital in Auckland Park, as well as owner of Crystal Raine Publishing (publishing her children's stories), and The Guardian's Jewel (personal coaching for parents of children with special needs). She wears many hats, but they all revolve around the world of special needs where she brings her extensive skillset to bear.
