In January 2001, a group of lifelong friends founded the Haven with one aim: a safe, loving place
for children who had nowhere else to turn.
More than two decades later, that dream is still the heart of everything we do 🏡

🏆 Proud moment for our Haven wrestlers!

Our 10 young athletes gave it their all at the SA Junior Wrestling Championships in Cape Town and brought home an incredible 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medal. 🤼‍♂️🥇🥈🥉

A huge thank you to Ruiter Wrestling Club, the coaches and everyone who made the trip possible.

We are so proud of our champions! ❤️🏆

❤️ A little re-introduction to St. Laurence’s Children’s Haven ❤️

For those who have followed us for years, and for those who may only be discovering us now, St Laurence’s Children’s Haven is a place of safety, love and hope for children who need it most.

Our Haven is about so much more than providing a roof over a child’s head. It’s about creating a home… a place where children are cared for, encouraged, supported and given opportunities to grow, learn and dream.

We’ll be sharing more of life at the Haven here, our children’s achievements, special moments, needs, projects and the wonderful people who make it all possible.

❤️ Our 25th Annual St Laurence's Children's Haven Silver Anniversary Ladies Day Fundraiser was a huge success🥰
💛 Thanks to the incredible support we received from our generous gorgeous guests, our kiddies have been blessed with groceries, clothing, stationery, personalised backpacks filled with goodies, complete bedroom makeovers and more🥳
💚 We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed, supported and donated to help make this special and very necessary fundraiser possible🏡
