ABIDE AND FRUIT
IN ALL YOU DO EACH DAY, ALL THROUGH YOUR DAY, TRY THIS AND WATCH THE BEAUTIFUL FRUIT DEVELOP AND GROW.

IF YOU WANT TRUE JOY AND PEACE AS YOU HEAD INTO LIFE EACH DAY, STAY CLOSE TO JESUS - OUR TRUE VINE.
* John‬ ‭15‬:‭1‬-‭11‬ ‭AMP‬‬
““ I am the true Vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit]. You are already clean because of the word which I have given you [the teachings which I have discussed with you]. Remain in Me, and I [will remain] in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself without remaining in the vine, neither can you [bear fruit, producing evidence of your faith] unless you remain in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken off] branch, and withers and dies; and they gather such branches and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart], ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified and honoured by this, when you bear much fruit, and prove yourselves to be My [true] disciples. I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]. If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing.”

THE RESULT OF STAYING CLOSE TO JESUS, IS GOOD FRUIT
Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

ASK YOURSELF, BEFORE YOU DO, OR SAY ANYTHING EACH DAY; “ IS THIS WHAT “JESUS WOULD DO OR SAY, IS THIS GOOD FRUIT?” WATCH YOUR ENTIRE LIFE CHANGE!

JESUS IS GOD AND GOD “IS LOVE” SO DO WHAT HE SAYING TO YOU TODAY:
Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭37‬-‭39‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“And Jesus replied to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’”

WHAT “memorial of faithfulness” TO JESUS, ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE TO YOUR FAMILY, YOUR CHILDREN, THOSE AT WORK AND SCHOOL, EACH PERSON YOU COME INTO CONTACT WITH EACH DAY, WEEK, MONTH, YEAR. WILL THEY SAY: “YOU CAN SEE HE/SHE, HAS BEEN WITH JESUS.

MEMORIALS OF FAITHFULNESS
* Mark‬ ‭14‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬
“I tell you the truth, wherever the Good News is preached throughout the world, this woman’s deed will be remembered and discussed.”” (Read the full chapter).
‭‭
We may assume that our expressions of devotion to God are small and insignificant, but in God’s eyes they may hold much meaning. Our love and dedication to Christ may even create memorials to God for future generations.

The women performed a profound act of love for Jesus.
* She did not do it to impress His disciples
* Or to gain public attention
* Or to gain praise from Jesus.
* She simply sought to express her love for Jesus.
* She did nothing spectacular
* She performed no miracles.
* She preached no sermons.
Yet Jesus was moved by her selfless loyalty that He deemed it worthy of remembrance throughout the remainder of history.

We do not know all that God finds most pleasing, nor do we know what acts of love He may choose to honour through our children and future generations.

* Abraham could not know that the day he demonstrated his willingness to sacrifice his only son would be memorialised and would bless many generations who heard of his obedience.
* David, could not have known that his walk with God would please Him so much that David’s example would bless generations who followed him.

God can take your faithfulness and begin a spiritual legacy, making it a blessing to others for generations to come. You will never know until eternity all who received a blessing because of your righteous life.
* This is why it is so important that you daily express your love and devotion to Jesus.

Jesus turned to Ten Commandments into two commandments:
Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭37‬-‭40‬ ‭NLT‬‬
“Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.””

SAD BUT TRUE
SADLY, THE SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT HAS DONE THE SAME TO OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY BY TURNING ON AND DENYING ISREAL
WE HAVE TURN FROM GOD’S ABRAHAMIC COVENANT HE SWORE HIMSELF🥵🥵🥵

The following is a copy of an article attributed to Spanish writer Sebastian Vilar Rodríguez and published in a Spanish newspaper on January 15, 2008.

I was walking down a street in Barcelona when I suddenly came to a terrible realization - Europe died in Auschwitz. We murdered six million Jews and replaced them with 20 million Muslims.

In Auschwitz, we burned a culture of thought, creativity, talent, and genius. We destroyed a truly chosen people - chosen not only by history, but by the immense contribution they made to humanity through great men and women who changed the world.

The contribution of the Jewish people can be seen in every sphere of life: science, art, international commerce, and above all, as a moral conscience to the world. These are the people we burned.

Then, under the banner of tolerance, and in our desperate attempt to convince ourselves that we had overcome racism, we opened our gates to millions who brought with them religious extremism, intolerance, crime, and poverty - often fueled by an unwillingness to integrate, work, and build with dignity.

They bombed our trains and transformed many of our beautiful European cities into places overwhelmed by violence, filth, and fear.

Hidden away in government-funded apartments, some among them plot destruction against the very societies that welcomed them with naïve generosity.

Thus, in our misery, we exchanged culture for fanaticism, creative brilliance for destructive hatred, intelligence for backwardness and superstition.

We traded the European Jews’ pursuit of peace, their devotion to life, and their determination to build a better future for their children - for those who glorify death, both for themselves and for others.

What a terrible mistake miserable Europe has made.

WHEREVER YOU GO TO TODAY, WHATEVER YOU SAY OR DO, WILL THOSE YOU COME INTO CONTACT SAY “YOU CAN SEE (YOUR NAME), HAS BEEN WITH JESUS??

A NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE
Acts‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“Now when the men of the Sanhedrin (Jewish High Court) saw the confidence and boldness of Peter and John, and grasped the fact that they were uneducated and untrained [ordinary] men, they were astounded, and began to recognize that they had been with Jesus.”
‭‭
There is no mistaking a life transformed by God! The disciples had been vain and fearful when Jesus enlisted them.
* James and John sought to outmanoeuvre their fellow disciples in order to gain places of greatest honour next to Jesus.
* Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭37‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“They said to Him, “Grant that we may sit [with You], one on Your right and one on Your left, in Your glory [Your majesty and splendor in Your kingdom].””
* Over and over the disciples the disciples actions showed that they did not truly understand who Jesus was.
* John‬ ‭6‬:‭7‬-‭9‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“Philip answered, “Two hundred denarii (200 days’ wages) worth of bread is not enough for each one to receive even a little.” One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “There is a little boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what are these for so many people?””
* Mark‬ ‭6‬:‭49‬ ‭AMP‬‬
‭‭ “But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they thought it was a ghost, and cried out [in horror];”
* Even after three years with Jesus, Peter was afraid to confess Christ before a young servant girl.
* Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭69‬-‭75‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a servant-girl came up to him and said, “You too were with Jesus the Galilean.” But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are talking about.” And when he had gone out to the gateway, another servant-girl saw him and she said to the bystanders, “This man was with Jesus the Nazarene.” And again he denied it with an oath, “I do not know the man.” After a little while the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Surely you are one of them too; for even your [Galilean] accent gives you away.” Then he began to curse [that is, to invoke God’s judgment on himself] and swear [an oath], “I do not know the man!” And at that moment a rooster crowed. And Peter remembered the [prophetic] words of Jesus, when He had said, “Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly [in repentance].”
‭‭
Anyone who knew these men would realise they were not the kind of people on which you build a world-wide kingdom. Yet something happened to them as they were with Jesus.

The Holy Spirit transformed them, giving them new boldness and wisdom. Now they could perform miracles and preach fearlessly to multitudes. Even their enemies noticed in their changed lives the same power they had witnessed in Jesus.

Sometimes we desperately want others to believe:
* That we have changed,
* That we are more godly,
* More devoted,
* More Spirit controlled.
It is not necessary, however, for those who have been truly transformed by Christ to convince others of the difference; the change will be obvious.

Don’t become too introspective, always focusing on yourself and the small changes you see happening over time. As you walk with Jesus daily, let the witness of the changes taking place in you come from others and not from you.

If you have to prove to someone that God has really changed you, He has not. Those around you will surely notice when your life has been transformed by your relationship with Jesus.

Zechariah‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“Then he said to me, “This [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel [prince of Judah], (YOU AND I), saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of whom the oil is a symbol],’ says the Lord of hosts.”

THIS IS CALLED THE “LAMENT OVER ZION” BY THE WEEPING PROPHET JEREMIAH. AS I READ IT, IT COULD BE CALLED “THE LAMENT OVER SOUTH AFRICA” BY WEEPING ERROL. IT CLEARLY DESCRIBES OUR LAND, A COUNTRY CURSED BY HOLY GOD FOR TURNING ON HIM. AS I WORK IN DIFFERENT AREAS OF SOWETO AND JHB ALL I’M SEEING IS THE CURSE MANIFESTING. UNLESS WE REPENT AND TURN TO GOD THROUGH JESUS WE ARE DOOMED. “GOD IS NOT A “GAME WE PLAY” AND “HE WILL NOT BE MOCKED”. PRAY FOR OUR LAND.🙏🏻🙏🏻✝️✝️

Jeremiah‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬-‭26‬ ‭AMP‬
“Oh that my head were waters And my eyes a fountain of tears, That I might weep day and night For the slain of the daughter of my people! Oh that I had in the wilderness A lodging place (a mere shelter) for wayfaring men, That I might leave my people And go away from them! For they are all adulterers [worshiping idols instead of the Lord], [They are] an assembly of treacherous men [of weak character, men without integrity]. “They bend their tongue like their bow; [Their] lies and not truth prevail and grow strong in the land; For they proceed from evil to evil, And they do not know and understand and acknowledge Me,” says the Lord. “Let everyone beware of his neighbor And do not trust any brother. For every brother is a supplanter [like Jacob, a deceiver, ready to grab his brother’s heel], And every neighbor goes around as a slanderer. Everyone deceives and mocks his neighbor And does not speak the truth. They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They exhaust themselves with sin and cruelty. Your dwelling is in the midst of deceit [oppression upon oppression and deceit upon deceit]; Through deceit they refuse to know (understand) Me,” says the Lord. Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, “Behold, I will refine them [through suffering] and test them; For how else should I deal with the daughter of My people? Their tongue is a murderous arrow; It speaks deceit; With his mouth one speaks peace to his neighbor, But in his heart he lays traps and waits in ambush for him. Shall I not punish them for these things?” says the Lord. “Shall I not avenge Myself On such a nation as this? “I will take up a weeping and wailing for the mountains, And a [funeral] dirge for the pastures of the wilderness, Because they are burned up and desolated so that no one passes through [them]; Nor can anyone hear the lowing of cattle. Both the birds of the air and the beasts have fled; they are gone. I will make Jerusalem (SOUTH AFRICA) a heap of ruins, A haunt and dwelling place of jackals; And I will make the cities of Judah (SOUTH AFRICA) a desolation, without inhabitant.” Who is the wise man who may understand this [without any doubt]? To whom has the mouth of the Lord spoken, so that he may declare it? Why is the land ruined, laid waste like a wilderness, so that no one passes through? The Lord said, “Because they have turned away from My law which I set before them, and have not listened to and obeyed My voice nor walked in accordance with it, but have walked stubbornly after their [own] heart and after the Baals, (ANCESTORS) as their fathers taught them,” therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “behold, I will feed them, this people, with wormwood and give them bitter and poisonous water to drink. I will [also] scatter them among nations that neither they nor their fathers have known, and I will send the sword after them until I have annihilated them.” Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Consider and call for the mourning women to come; Send for the wailing women to come. Let them hurry and take up a wailing for us, That our eyes may shed tears And our eyelids flow with water. For a sound of wailing is heard [coming] from Zion (OURS TOWNS): ‘How we are ruined! We are greatly perplexed and utterly shamed, Because we have left the land, Because they have torn down our dwellings.’ ” Now hear the word of the Lord, O you women, And let your ear hear the word of His mouth; Teach your daughters a song of mourning, And each one [teach] her neighbor a dirge. For death has come up through our windows; It has entered our palaces, Cutting off the children from the streets And the young men from the town squares. Speak, “Thus says the Lord, ‘The dead bodies of men will fall like dung on the open field, And like sheaves [of grain] behind the reaper, And no one will gather them.’ ” Thus says the Lord, “Let not the one who is wise and skillful boast in his insight; let not the one who is mighty and powerful boast in his strength; let not the one who is rich boast in his [temporal satisfactions and earthly] abundance; but let the one who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me [and acknowledges Me and honors Me as God and recognizes without any doubt], that I am the Lord who practices lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on the earth, for in these things I delight,” says the Lord. “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “when I will punish all who are circumcised [physically] and yet uncircumcised [spiritually]— Egypt and Judah, and Edom and the sons of Ammon, and Moab and all those who live in the desert who clip off the hair on their temples; for all these nations are uncircumcised (sinful, impure), and all the house of Israel (SOUTH AFRICA) are uncircumcised in heart.””

Following Jesus was never a promise of a pain-free life. It's a promise of His presence through the pain. The most radiant believers aren't the ones who've avoided sorrow. They're the ones who've learned to hold joy and grief in the same hand. Their hope doesn't deny the tears; it endures them. That kind of faith preaches without saying a word.

"You will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy." — John 16:20

Who in your life has modeled this kind of joy-through-tears? What did you learn from them?

“Prioritise your life” is God’s Word to you today:Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭37‬-‭39‬ ‭AMP‬‬“And Jesus replied to him, “ ‘You shall ...

“Prioritise your life” is God’s Word to you today:
Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭37‬-‭39‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“And Jesus replied to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’”

Putting Your Brother First
* 1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭24‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“Let no one seek [only] his own good, but [also] that of the other person.”

* 1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭24‬ ‭NLT
‭‭ “Don’t be concerned for your own good but for the good of others.”
‭‭
As Christians you are obliged to view your actions in the light of how they will affect other people. You will discover God’s will for your life when you consider His activity in the lives of others.

This goes contrary to worldly thinking. THE WORLD:
* Encourages you to live your own life, taking care of your own needs and wants first.
* Sin promotes independence.
* It isolates you from others
* Separates you from those you could help, or
* Could encourage you.
* God designed you for interdependence..

Whenever you meet another Christian, you come face to face with Christ:
* John‬ ‭13‬:‭20‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the one who receives and welcomes whomever I send receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me [in that same way].””
‭‭
There ought to be a deep respect within you as you encounter other lives guided by the Holy Spirit. Do not live as if you have no responsibility toward your Christian brothers and sisters, close friends, family etc.

God holds you accountable for how you relate to others. Don’t revel in your “freedom in Christ” to the point that you neglect your responsibilities to others.

Paul celebrated his freedom in Christ, but he was sensitive to what might cause others harm. He was aware that his sin could not take place in isolation but could bring pain to others.

You have responsibility to live in such a way that you do not hurt others. You must deny yourself and allow the Holy Spirit to put to death your natural inclination to be self cantered.

As long as you focus on yourself, you will be oblivious to the needs and concerns of others. Ask God to free you from selfishness so that your life is free to bless others.

If you want God’s blessings, listen to what He is saying you and then do what He is saying:
James‬ ‭1‬:‭22‬, ‭25‬ ‭AMP‬‬
* “But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]. But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience].”

And Jesus replied to him, “ ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ [Deut 6:5] This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is

IF YOU WANT A TRUE RELATIONSHIP WITH ALMIGHTY GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. GOING TO CHURCH, READING THE BIBLE VERSE, SAYING AN THE OCCASIONAL PRAYER, IS NOT WHAT A RELATIONSHIP IS ABOUT. WHY DO YOU THINK DIVORCE IS RAMPANT IN THE WORLD ? IT’S NO DIFFERENT WITH GOD. THEN MANY OF US SAY; “WHERE IS GOD WHY DO I HAVE PROBLEMS, WHY ARE MY PRAYERS NOT BEING ANSWERED?
YOU HAVE TO WORK ON IT:

GO UP AND POSSESS IT
* Deuteronomy‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“Behold, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and take possession of it, just as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has spoken to you. Do not fear or be dismayed.’”
‭‭
One of the paradoxes (contradictions) of the Christian life is that God’s gifts often require labour on our part. God brought the Israelites to the Promised Land and told them He was going to “give” it to them.
* Numbers‬ ‭13‬:‭2‬ ‭AMP‬‬
““Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am going to give to the sons of Israel. From each of their fathers’ tribes you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.””
‭‭
The gift of the Promised Land sounded great to the Israelites until they realised that with the gift , came battles against giants and fortified cities
* Perhaps they assumed God was going to obliterate the inhabitants of the land before they entered.
* Ideally for the Israelites, they could then have entered a vacant land with houses and cities already built and ready to inhabit.

Instead, God said they would have to fight for it. They would not have to fight in their own strength, however, God would be present to fight for them .

God would bring down the walls of cities, give then strategies to defeat their enemies, and empower their warriors to fight. The Israelites would have a Devine advantage over anyone they fought, but they would still have to fight.

It would be wonderful if, when we became Christians,
* God would fill our minds with a complete knowledge of the Bible and with Bible verses already memorised.
* It would be easy if God would in-still in us a delight in spending hours in prayer each day
* A fearless desire to share our faith with others.

But God does not relate to us that way. Instead He gives us the free gift of His salvation and then tells us to “work out” our salvation in fear and trembling.
* Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ].”

Are you discouraged because the Christian life Is more difficult and challenging than you expected? Don’t be. God’s gifts to you are perfect because, through them, God makes you as perfect as well.
Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭48‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“You, therefore, will be perfect [growing into spiritual maturity both in mind and character, actively integrating godly values into your daily life], as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (LIKE FATHER LIKE SON/DAUGHTER).
James‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬
“Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes].”
