Meet Sarie Bouwer, Administrator and Fundraiser at the MDFSA National Office. In this awareness video, Sarie addresses an important misconception about muscular dystrophy i.e. MD is not contagious.

You cannot “catch” muscular dystrophy through touching, being close to, or spending time with someone who has MD. Understanding the facts helps reduce stigma and creates a more supportive and inclusive community for people living with muscular dystrophy and their families.
