Motorsport South Africa is deeply saddened by the passing of Andre de K**k, affectionately known as "Scribe."

For decades, Andre documented the stories, people and history of South African motorsport with passion and dedication. His contribution to the sport was recognised with an MSA Special Award in 1998 and the MSA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.

We pay tribute to a respected journalist, a true gentleman and a lifelong supporter of our sport.

Expect a full day of racing featuring the Investchem MSA4, Formula Ford Kent, SunBet ZX10 Masters Cup, Astron Energy Polo Cup, Volkswagen Rookie Cup, South African Touring Cars (SATC), SATC SupaCup, GR Cup and Extreme SuperCars Driven by Dunlop. With championship points on the line across every category, there will be no shortage of close racing.

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing South Africa heads to the Aldo Scribante Circuit near Gqeberha this weekend as the 2026 South African Touring Cars and GR Cup championships continue.

With championship battles heating up across the GR Cup categories and SATC, valuable points will be on offer as the season reaches its halfway stage.

📅 Round 4 takes place at the Aldo Scribante Circuit on 26 and 27 June 2026.

🏁 TREASURYONE MOTORSPORT SHOWS STRONG PACE AT PARYS

Hennie de Klerk and Carl Swanepoel impressed on their return to national rally raid competition, leading the SA T1 class and running inside the overall top ten at the INGCO Parys 400 before a late technical issue ended their race.

Despite the disappointment, the performance showed the pace of the TreasuryONE Hilux and provided plenty of positives for the season ahead.

🏁 TEAM TORK CRAFT SHINES AT WARTBURG

Team Tork Craft enjoyed a successful outing at Round 3 of the South African National Cross Country Motorcycle Championship at Wartburg, with strong performances across the Open, Ladies and Junior categories. The event delivered close racing throughout the day as riders battled for valuable championship points.

The championship now heads to Mafikeng for Round 4 on Saturday, 22 August 2026.
