On Saturday, 19th July, we at On A Mission To Serve (OAMTS) were privileged to join Service in Motion NPO - Oct2021 and other like-minded organisations in a beautiful act of service — feeding and ministering to the community of Riverlea in honour of Nelson Mandela Day.

Together, we shared not just meals, but hope, kindness, and love — continuing Madiba’s legacy of compassion and unity.

Today, we had the joy and privilege of celebrating Mandela Day with the children at the home. It was a truly purposeful and heartwarming day, filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments.
We shared a delicious lunch with the kids, and we gifted each child a new pair of winter pyjamas and slippers to keep them warm this season. They were also treated with Goodie Bags.

The day was alive with music, singing, and dancing, with the children shining during our fun-filled karaoke session.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who played a role in making this day so special — your kindness, support, and generosity helped create memories that will last a lifetime.
