We are truly grateful and blessed to have been able to feed over 120 children and adults today with a delicious and hearty meal of meaty bones, lentils and pap.
We are reminded once again that we are blessed to be a blessing.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers for your continued dedication, love and commitment. And to our wonderful sponsors, thank you for always giving so wholeheartedly. Without your support, none of this would be possible.

Mandela Day activities

Today was truly a day to remember as On A Mission to Serve (OAMTS) celebrated Mandela Day with the wonderful children at the children’s home.

Our day began with an inspiring yoga session, beautifully led by Dez, followed by a fun and meaningful Vision Boarding activity. The children thoroughly enjoyed flipping through magazines, dreaming big, and creating vision boards that reflected their hopes and aspirations.

We then shared a delicious lunch together before presenting each child with a gift bag filled with much-needed essentials, including winter vests, slippers, underwear, and other thoughtful items. Their smiles and excitement reminded us that even the smallest act of kindness can make a world of difference.

To make the day even sweeter, every child also received a goodie bag filled with treats and fresh fruit.

It’s been a while since we last posted, but that definitely does not mean we have not been active.

Since the schools reopened in January, our feeding scheme has been running consistently and has not slowed down. Week after week, we continue to serve meals to our little ones and adults in our community.

It is always such a blessing to be able serve in our community, share a meal, and bring hope to those who need it most. None of this would be possible without the kindness, support, and generosity of everyone who continues to stand with us.

Thank you to every person who donates, volunteers, supports, and keeps believing in what we do. Together, we continue making a difference — one meal, one smile, and one family at a time.
