Action for Blind and Disabled Children

Action for Blind and Disabled Children Any unemployed South African citizen or legal resident registered blind, deaf or disabled, of any race or age

Action for Blind and Disabled Children is experiencing a period of dynamic growth, and we're reaching out to you, our valued partner, to invite you to be a part of our continued success.

In the last three months alone, we've welcomed a significant number of new learners, and we're thrilled to announce the introduction of our advanced Contact Centre NQF Level 3 learner ship program, a testame

nt to our commitment to expanding educational horizons for our students.

We are profoundly grateful to our long-standing sponsors, whose unwavering support has been the cornerstone of our achievements. And to our new sponsors, welcome! Your partnership is invaluable. With your increased support, we can extend our reach and empower even more blind and disabled children to achieve their full potential.

Today, we're appealing for funding to support new blind and disabled learners who require foundational computer training and access to vital learner ships. We also seek sponsorships for SED (Socio-Economic Development) learners who, while not currently enrolled, would significantly benefit from invaluable certification programs.

Given the annual turnover of learners, continued funding remains essential. Your sponsorship isn't simply a donation; it's a lifeline. It's a vital intervention that keeps vulnerable learners off the streets, protecting them from begging and dangerous circumstances.

Our free computer training program, funded entirely by the generosity of sponsors like you, equips disabled learners with the skills they need to improve their employability, foster self-sufficiency, and ultimately, lead independent and fulfilling lives.

We welcome sponsorships of any financial capacity. Every contribution, big or small, makes a tangible difference. Further details regarding specific sponsorship options can be requested to Petro Le Roux ([email protected])

Join us in empowering futures. Partner with Action for Blind and Disabled Children and help us transform lives, one learner at a time.

Option 2: Focus on the Organization's History and Success
Subject: Partner with Action for Blind and Disabled Children:
Creating Opportunities since 2002

For over two decades, Action for Blind and Disabled Children has been at the forefront of empowering disabled youth in South Africa. Established in 2002, our organization has grown exponentially, serving over 547 blind, deaf, and disabled learners annually and becoming a beacon of hope for those who often face limited opportunities.

Unlike many institutions, we provide free IT tuition – a critical skill often inaccessible to disabled individuals due to financial constraints. We recognize that the Equity Employment Act has created opportunities, but the skills gap prevents many from benefiting. Action for Blind and Disabled Children is committed to bridging that gap.

Our success stories are a testament to the power of education and your potential sponsorship. We have successfully placed over fifty blind, deaf, or disabled individuals in meaningful employment.

Why Partner with Us?

Proven Track Record:
We have a long history of success in empowering disabled individuals and connecting them with employment opportunities.

Comprehensive Training:
Our programs cover a wide range of skills, from basic computer literacy to advance IT training and even craft-based skills like pottery.

Holistic Support:
We provide not just education, but also accommodation for those who live far from our facility, ensuring they have a safe and supportive environment.

No Placement Fees:
We are committed to placing learners without charging placement fees, focusing instead on their long-term success.

Here’s How You Can Help:
Your sponsorship can directly impact the lives of our learners. Consider these options:

R 870.00:** Sponsors a disabled student for 1 exam fee
R 1,000.00:** Sponsors a disabled student for 1 month
R 3,000.00:** Sponsors a disabled student for 1 term
R 6,000.00:** Sponsors a disabled student for 2 terms
R 9,000.00:** Sponsors a disabled student for 3 terms
R 12,000.00:** Sponsors a disabled student for 1 year

R50, 000.00:** Sponsors a full Learner ship, with stipends between R3, 500.00 and R4, 000.00 per month (stipend amount determined by sponsoring company)

We receive no funding from the Department of Social Development or The Department of Social Services.

Your contribution is critical to our ability to continue providing these life-changing services. This is a Section 18(a) donation, and we provide a tax invoice for Tax purposes.

Join us in making a difference!

This is a position for a very enthusiastic person, with a lot of self discipline, self motivation, not afraid of rejection and passion to promote our Organisation's vision to potential supporters. It is purely commission driven, no basic. The fundraiser position is to collect funds and promote the brand. The position has very high performance requirements.

You determine your income, the harder you work the more commission you get out.
