Great advertising goes beyond ex*****on. It takes human insight, creativity and a deep understanding of the target market to create something that genuinely connects and triggers emotion.

MADS was honoured to be part of The South African Voiceover Awards (TSVA), hosted by The Voiceover Factory at the Indaba Hotel, celebrating the incredible talent, creativity and diversity of voices across South Africa.

From radio and animation to storytelling, performance and sign language, the awards recognised the many ways people communicate, connect and make an impact.

A special moment for us was seeing our CEO, Mandy Kayser, take the stage to present an award and celebrate the outstanding talent within the industry.

At MADS, our focus is on bringing Learners, Leaders and Legends together to learn, grow and inspire one another. What a wonderful moment to see a young Leader, Sinemivuyo Mpulu, bring a room full of Learners, Leaders and Legends together to celebrate and honour the incredible voices and talent within this industry. A beautiful reminder that every voice matters, and every generation has something valuable to contribute.

Congratulations to all the nominees, winners, and a special thank you to The Voiceover Factory for creating a platform that recognises talent, celebrates diversity and gives voices across this industry the recognition they deserve!

Everyone has something that keeps them going. A thought, a belief, a person, a dream or simply a reminder to themselves that tomorrow is worth showing up for.

For our learners, these words hold a special place in their journeys. They reflect the things that encourage them, strengthen them and remind them why they started. We invited them to share the words that speak to their hearts and keep them moving forward because sometimes, a few meaningful words are all we need to find the courage to keep going.

There’s no denying that everyone needs to get used to using AI in the workplace.

Prompting will become a skill set that, when done properly, will be an asset. However, in order to do this, human input remains critical. Measuring the output and whether it will work for the client is equally important.

Sound judgement is a human skill that cannot be replaced. Learn to use it well.

A few more moments from our MADS UniVisit with the University of Johannesburg’s 3rd-year Marketing students during their Digital Marketing module. 🎓

A big thank you to our speakers, Francis Matianyi, Key Accounts Director at Rebel Rebel and former UJ student, and Alicia Van Loggerenberg, Business Owner of Mirror Image Communications and MADS Director, for sharing their experiences, industry insights and lessons from the real world.

And, of course, we had to add a little MADS flair, using balloons to carry a powerful message about purpose and perseverance, before ending by giving each student a pen as a reminder that they have the power to write their own story.
