For some people, walking into a supermarket is an ordinary errand. For an autistic person, it can take every ounce of energy just to stay inside.
The lights. The noise. The crowds. The pressure to cope.
Now imagine being met with understanding. A quieter environment. A patient staff member. Support that makes it possible to shop with dignity.
That is the conversation George is bringing to life as we launch Season 2! 🌍
In “George Goes to London,” we explore hidden disabilities, the sunflower lanyard, sensory overload, and practical examples of how shops and communities can become more welcoming.
As an autistic adult and advocate, this is deeply personal to me. I know what it feels like to navigate spaces that have never considered your needs. I also know the difference it makes when someone listens and takes action.
Through George, we can bring these conversations into homes, schools, workplaces, and shops and inspire people to make changes in their own communities.
