Power update: Mooikloof Substation

✔️ Transformer cables were tested
✔️ Testing of breakers done
✔️ Cleaning of busbars done

Challenges:

Team identified fault on Red phase of transformer A. To rectify this, a replacement of a cable must be done.

Electricity team is attending to transformers in order of priority.

Other technical tasks to be done:

• To extract moisture, drain oil and put transformer tank under vacuum for atleast 24 hours.
• ⁠Drain oil and put new oil to be used to top up oil to other transformers on the network
• Installations and joining of new cables. Team to dig new trench.

Electricity team is attending to transformers in order of priority. So far, the Test Section is already done testing 4 Woodhill feeders.
