🇨🇭 BIG NEWS FROM BERN! 🇨🇭
This weekend, Courtney Greaves and Jack Burninham is taking on the Boulder World Climbing Series in Switzerland! 🧗‍♀️

You've all met Jack, now it's time to introduce Courtney.😉

Her journey to the world stage is nothing short of incredible:
🔟Age 10: Fell in love with climbing.
🚑Age 14: Left the sport after fracturing her spine and sternum in a tree-climbing accident.
🏆Age 25: Made a triumphant return to consistent competitive climbing.

According to her coach (and now husband!), Courtney is a true professional at "calling moves impossible moments before sticking them." 😂💪

The South African flag is flying high in Austria this weekend! 🇿🇦 🇦🇹🧗‍♂️
We are bursting with pride as Anton, Lily, and Sebastian step onto the mats for the very first Youth European Bouldering Cup of the season. And where better than in Graz!

This is a massive milestone for Anton, who is making his international debut!😁
He is joined by Lily and Sebastian, entering their second year of international competition.💪🏻

Together the trio's experience and grit is the perfect fuel for Team SA as they take on the best in Europe. 🌍🔥

The journey doesn't stop in Graz—both Lily and Anton will later represent South Africa at the Youth World Championships🇮🇹

To our three Proteas: climb hard, find your flow, and wear that badge with the pride of a SA Climbing nation behind you. 🇿🇦💪

This weekend, Ryan Smit is taking on the Open European Boulder event in Kaunas, Lithuania! 🇱🇹

After over a decade in the sport, Ryan is ready to show what 13 years of dedication looks like on the competition wall.

When he’s not crushing problems in his favourite spots like Innsbruck or Colorado, you’ll likely find him refueling with a mountain of sushi 🍣 or letting Spotify’s algorithm choose his next training soundtrack. 🎶

Just don’t bring any polystyrene near him—his biggest ick is officially on notice. 😂

But the season is only just beginning! Later this year, Ryan will be shifting gears to Lead climbing, taking his talents across the continent to compete in:

With 14 years of experience in Graphic Design and 8 years in UX/UI, Andrea specialises in turning complex systems into intuitive, human-centered experiences. Her career has spanned everything from telecoms and fintech to global brand management—always driven by a passion for structure, clarity, and meaningful storytelling.

But Andrea isn't just a designer; she’s one of us. When she isn’t crafting digital experiences, you’ll find her:

We are thrilled to unveil our new logo. Following our name change from SANCF, we needed a visual identity that captured the energy of our sport—and we couldn't have done it without you.

A massive thank you to everyone who participated in our sneak peek voting. The engagement was through the roof, and it was a nail-biting finish with only a few votes separating the top designs!

Your passion made it clear that this brand belongs to the whole community.

Out with the old, in with the new. This logo represents our commitment to growing and unifying climbing across South Africa, from grassroots projects to the global stage. 🏔️✨
