We are heartbroken to share that one of our Kya Sands moms was brutally attacked and stabbed on Sunday after two men robbed her of her hard-earned sales money, cellphone and stock. She is recovering after being hospitalized, but this devastating attack has left her and her two little girls in urgent need of help as she returns home tomorrow.
​Can you help us please 🙏
​- A spare cellphone
- ​Food & toiletries (Daily essentials, school lunchbox snacks for her daughters)
​- Any contribution, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated. Mom won't be able to go out and sell for a while.
This is an absolutely devastating blow for this family of 3.

During August we posted the story about S, a disabled single mom to 3 little girls. In a dark spiral and feeling helpless, she reached out to People4Purpose NPO .
My the grace, kindness and generosity of the community we were able to refurnish their little cottage, provide food & toiletries, replace her wheelchair and get her modified car fixed and back on the road.
But S is being rejected for all the driving jobs she's applying for because of her expired license. This car is her source of income and she really needs a little help to start earning and looking after her girls.
Is there a kind Samaritan who can help us get S back on the road please 🙏 😢

Cosmo City family update 🙏
A few nights ago I posted an appeal for assistance for a little family from Cosmo City who hav been homeless for 3 months, and the eldest child currently writing matric.

We were simply not expecting the outpouring of support, kindness, generosity and caring, that was received from this community 🙌

Within 24 hours of posting, a new room was secured and 3 months rent paid over to the landlord. 2 beds were delivered on Friday. Over this weekend, household items, blankets, pillows, crockery, cutlery has been delivered. Food and toiletries have been purchased and received and delivered. A gas cooker has helped with meals.

Mom starts a new job tomorrow 🙌 Transport money has been sent.

People4Purpose NPO extends a very grateful and humble thank you to every single person that assisted this family ❤️ An incredible community, the kindness of strangers and the spirit of Ubuntu leaves me feeling proudly South African ✨️

It takes immense courage to reach out when you’re hanging on by a thread. We’ve recently been engaging with a single mother who is working tirelessly to build a safer, brighter future for herself and her young daughter. She just needs a headstart.
When someone is doing everything in their power to change their circumstances, turning them away simply isn't an option. Right now, a few tangible contributions can completely alter this little family's trajectory.
Transport: R150 to cover her commute for a week
Rent: Any contribution toward keeping a safe roof over their heads
Groceries: A Checkers Sixty60 delivery or grocery voucher to put food on their table

For those who don't know me, I am the face behind this organization and my recovery was the start of the next season of my life ...People4Purpose NPO
8 years ago I received my diagnosis of Stage 3B HER2 positive breast cancer in Oct 2018 and a rollercoaster journey started.
But this month is also a celebration of my 7 YEAR REMISSION anniversary 🩷🙌

This young man is so excited about his matric dance 🕺 Can you see the big smile courtesy of Lorna Potgieter-Rossetti and her magic matric initiative, but his mom is battling to find work and can't cover the cost of the ticket and she's absolutely devastated 😢 💔
