PINK DERBY DAY – SAINTS VS ST JOHN’S COLLEGE - SATURDAY 20 JUNE 2026

Join us for the annual Pink Derby as two great boys’ schools come together for a day of sport, community and purpose. Since its inception in 2016, this special event has represented far more than a sporting rivalry, bringing the St Stithians and St John's communities together in support of PinkDrive and the vital work they do in the early detection of breast and gender-related cancers.

This Saturday, 20 June, the tradition continues as our Boys' College and Boys' Prep travel to St John's College for the 9th , part of the King Price Insurance Derby Series and our final derby of the season.

Supporters are encouraged to visit the Wall of Hope at the main entrance of St John's, make a donation, and leave a message in honour of a survivor, in memory of a loved one, or to celebrate a personal cancer journey.

On the field, look forward to an exciting day of competition, including First XI Hockey, the Boys' Prep clash, the Old Stithians vs Old Johannians 7s Rugby match, and the First XV Rugby encounter.

Wear your blue and white Saints supporter stripes, add a touch of pink, and show your support as we come together to celebrate sport, community, and a cause that truly matters.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Professor Elna McIntosh.

Prof Elna was far more than a renowned gynaecologist and sexologist. She was a compassionate advocate for women's health, a dedicated servant of her community, and a cherished member of the PinkDrive family.

For many years, she served on the PinkDrive Board, generously giving her time, expertise, and heart to our mission. Without hesitation, she would leave her private practice behind to travel with the PinkDrive team on long-distance outreaches, ensuring that women in underserved communities had access to life-saving education, support, and healthcare services.

Educating women and empowering them with knowledge about their health was not just her profession—it was her passion and life's calling.

Prof Elna walked a path that few would choose, a road marked by uncertainty, pain, and immense courage. Yet she faced every challenge with quiet grace and unwavering determination. She met each new day with strength, dignity, and a spirit that inspired all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cancer may have claimed her body, but it could never conquer her heart. She wore resilience like armour, and her hope became a light that guided and encouraged countless others through their own journeys.

Her legacy lives on in every life she touched, every woman she empowered, and every community she served.

On behalf of the entire PinkDrive family, we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and all who loved her. We pray for comfort and strength during this difficult time.

Prof Elna, thank you for your selfless service, your wisdom, your compassion, and the difference you made in so many lives.

You will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever celebrated.

Rest in peace, Prof Elna McIntosh.

What an incredible honour for PinkDrive to be recognised at the Global Excellence and Leadership Awards!

As the proud Exhibitor Partner for the event, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Scan Display for generously supplying our exhibition stand and helping us showcase our mission of early detection of gender related cancer, awareness and screening.

A special congratulations to our CEO and Founder, Noelene Kotschan, who accepted two prestigious awards on behalf of PinkDrive:
Exhibiting Partner Award
Global Healthcare Impact Award for cancer awareness and the early detection of gender-related cancers.

Receiving the awards from Insights Success are not just for one individual—they belong to every dedicated staff member of the PinkDrive team who works tirelessly to bridge the gap in healthcare, and to every person whose life has been touched through our services and outreach.

Most importantly, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all our corporate partners, philanthropic organisations, donors, and individuals who continue to support our mission. Your generosity and belief in our cause make it possible for us to reach communities across South Africa and provide access to life-saving early detection services.

Together, we are making a lasting impact and bringing hope, health, and dignity to those who need it most.

Thank you Insights Excellence Awards for the recognition.
