What an incredible day in Nooidgedacht! 💛
The Colab Foundation, together with Samaritans Feet, blessed 306 kids with brand-new pairs of shoes, and also donated R40k to keep the impact going.

The feet-washing ceremony, accompanied by prayer, was honestly the most beautiful moment. City Hope Church helped us demonstrate the importance of serving with humility, starting with washing hands, then gently washing the children’s feet before fitting their new shoes.

Such a simple act, but so powerful.

A few good men...

This year’s camp reminded us of God’s promise in Hebrews 10:35:
“Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward!”

At The Character Company We believe every boy carries the potential to grow into a strong, rooted, and purposeful man. Our Rite of Passage camp is where that potential is nurtured, a journey where young men are guided, challenged, and celebrated as they step into maturity with courage and responsibility.

We’ve seen amazing things happen when men from different walks of life come together, put their differences aside, and unite for the boy child. This brotherhood doesn’t just strengthen the boys, it also shapes us as men, calling us to lead with character and purpose.

We are grateful for every man who stood shoulder to shoulder on this journey. Together, we remain committed to raising boys to be good men, men of faith, strength, and character.

Our school transport got hijacked! Help us get back on the road?

At times running an NPO for vulnerable children in South Africa feels like walking in a mine field, we just wait for the next bomb to go off… and on Tuesday it did!

Devastatingly our LIV Lanseria quantum was hijacked and in less than 24hours was stripped to pieces. We are so heartsore to think that people would steal from the vulnerable children of South Africa but we pray for those responsible because they must be desperate to do such a thing so heartlessly.

We relied on this vehicle daily to get our children to school and in an already tough economy and time of low cash flow this feels like a heavy blow. With no vehicle and no money in the bank we now trust for the miraculous!
