Ancient Egyptian Society A society of people interested in the history of Ancient Egypt. We meet every last Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM in Emmarantia.

Presentations are by members and external experts in their respective fields such as History, Architecture, Art, etc.

Hi All, at our next meeting on 24 June, following the lecture there will be an auction. In memory of Eric Swanepoel (former AES Chairman), his wife Joan Swanepoel has generously donated a collection of books and Egyptian-themed items to the Ancient Egypt Society for auction.
📚🏺 Bid on unique treasures and support the Society!
Auction proceeds to be used for:
🍷 A round of drinks in Eric’s memory
❤️ The balance donated to the AES.
This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Eric’s legacy and support the Society.
A card machine is available for cashless purchases.
