With the help of its members and donors Ntabethemba Development has collected numerous books and is in a great quest to donate these books to schools around Ntabethemba A/A. This is one of Ntabethemba Development’s core values to ensure that pupils in rural areas are afforded similar opportunities as their counterparts in urban areas. Our end goal with this quest is to ensure that schools around Ntabethemba A/A have libraries and access to reading material in addition to prescribed textbooks.

Intended beneficiaries are schools around Ntabethemba A/A. Interested School representatives may contact us by inboxing us or through our chairperson - Xolani Mbali on 083 395 9365 or Chwayita Akhile Mkrola.

Your assistance in sharing this would be greatly appreciated.

-Use this as motivation for choosing Amaqwathi Primary School (you can add your own motivation, this is just an example):

The school is based in a rural area with no access to a library and is 59KM away from the nearest library which is Queenstown. This being a rural area makes it difficult for children from this school to gain access to literature outside of school prescribed material which then puts these learners at a disadvantage in comparison to their counterparts in urban areas.

In one of our “back to school” donations received in 2022, we received a donation of 10 pairs of adults size 11 brown school shoes. We reached out to various schools within the Ntabethemba A/A but could not find learners wearing this size.

We are now looking to donate to adults in need of these shoes. If you know of or are someone who might be be in need, please reach out to us via inbox/comments and we shall coordinate the handover with you.

27 February 2023 marked a remarkable day at Naniso Junior Primary School in Tentergate No. 2 where Ntabethemba Development’s chairperson Xolani Mbali handed over a book trolley with books.

This is one of Ntabethemba Development’s mandate in ensuring that learners in rural schools are exposed to similar opportunities as their counterparts in urban areas. Naniso is the second school in Ntabethemba to have benefited from this book donation project and more schools are yet to benefit.

We would to thank everyone who had a hand in making Ntabethemba Development a winner of the book trolley competition, your votes have led to unlocking new opportunities for the learners of Naniso Junior Primary school. Sibamba ngazo zozibini kwinqununu yesikolo kwakunye neSGB ngokusamkela ngezandla ezishushu nokuyilangazelela lenkxaso yeencwadi🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.

Iseyintshayelelo ke le, njengesiqhelo, we still have our annual projects ahead and more. Do watch this space for more updates
