Dear friends, supporters and community partners,

Our organisation, CEF Foundation (Community Empowerment Forum, NPO 326-201), is launching a transformative skills-training initiative aimed at 500 youth in Township areas. Through this programme we will equip young people with leadership, emergency response, community safety, hospitality and feeding-scheme skills—building a stronger, united township and future.

We are raising funds to make this possible. Your donation — any amount — helps provide:
• Training materials & equipment
• Practical shift opportunities
• Feeding programmes + volunteer support
• Certificates that boost CVs & employability

TURNING OUR STRUGGLES INTO SKILLS & A BETTER FUTURE

To all South African Townships – LET’S USE OUR STRUGGLES AS OUR STRENGTH!

In the township, we face real challenges…
- Unemployment.
- Crime.
- Drugs.
- Hunger.
- Lack of opportunities.
- Lack of resources.

But these struggles are not the end — they are the beginning of our power.

* Through the CEF Foundation (326-201 NPO), we are turning these daily hardships into skills, training, and youth development that will uplift the entire community.

How Our Struggles Become Our Strengths

- No jobs?
→ We TRAIN our youth with emergency skills, community policing, leadership, kitchen skills, and community business development.

- Crime & drugs rising?
→ We EMPOWER youth with purpose, identity, mentorship, and opportunities — so they choose growth, not destruction.

- Hunger?
→ We BUILD feeding schemes, cooking volunteers, and food distribution teams that give both skills AND hope.

- Lack of opportunities?
→ We CREATE our own through community-owned projects, street leadership, and partnerships with businesses.

This is what transformation looks like:

Young people leading patrols, not causing trouble

Youth trained in first aid, safety, and emergency response

Community kitchens run by local cooks and volunteers

Elders guiding the community as mentors and advisors

Businesses and households contributing to development

We are proving that a township can grow its own solutions.

*The future belongs to the youth, but only if we prepare them.
*Every struggle we face becomes a lesson, a skill, and a stepping-stone when we work together.

- Let’s build a generation that is strong, skilled, and united.
- Let’s turn our struggles into success.
- Let’s uplift Leboneng, one youth at a time.
