Due to the accident that happened at The Orchards, Hilton Street corner Plantain and Deeks, we are asking everyone to go to the Kids Corner Nursery and Pre-school to sign a petition for a speed hump as this accident is one of many that previously occurred near the crèche and we tried communicating with the tshwane municipality rand at the Akasia municipality to have speed humps near the Hulton circle as the drivers are reckless, they do not want to share the circle which resulted in the current accident.
The previous years when another accident happened the crèche had more than 100 people who signed the petition, but there were told the municipality does not have the budget for it. As of today, we have experienced another reckless driver who had her car crushed on the wall of the school. Imagine what could have happened if the car had found children playing? We are pleading with our municipality to do something about this.
