✨ A Night to Remember ✨

Our three beautiful matric girls had a night to remember at their Matric Dance! 💃🏽❤️

For these young ladies, the evening was about more than beautiful dresses, hair, make-up and getting dressed up — it was about celebrating how far they have come, the challenges they have overcome, and the bright futures that lie ahead. 🌟

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this special evening possible and gave our girls a night filled with smiles, confidence and memories they will treasure. 🥹💕

From all of us at Haven Care Centre, we are incredibly proud of our girls. May this be the beginning of an exciting new chapter in each of their lives. 🎓✨

We see it. We live with the reality of it. And we know that it doesn’t end when a campaign does.

For 27 years, The Haven Care Centre has opened its doors to women, mothers and children who have experienced abuse, violence and circumstances no one should have to endure.

Behind every number is a woman.
Behind every woman may be a mother.
And behind every mother may be a child who needs safety too.

For 27 years, we have watched the need continue. We have seen women arrive with nothing but the hope of finding somewhere safe to begin again.

Violence against women and children is not something that should only receive attention at certain times of the year. It is happening every day, and the need for safe spaces, support and compassion continues every day.

The Haven exists because there is a need for a place where women and children can feel safe, supported and valued.

27 years later, we are still here.
And we will continue to be here for those who need us.

This winter, our little soup kitchen has been a place of warmth, comfort and kindness. 🍲🧣

Alongside serving warm meals, we’ve also been blessed to hand out blankets to those in need — offering a little extra warmth during those cold winter days and nights. 🥰

The hearts behind our soup kitchen are big! Every meal served, every blanket handed out and every helping hand reminds us that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Haven Care Centre and makes it possible for us to reach out to those who need it most. ❤️

💧 ONE MORE STEP FORWARD! 🧱💙

August 2026, we reached another exciting milestone at our new Haven premises — our borehole was installed! 🙏

Every step we take brings us closer to creating a safe, sustainable and welcoming home for the women and children in our care.

A borehole may seem like a small thing, but for Haven it means water security, greater independence and another important part of our future falling into place. 💧🌱

We still have a long road ahead, but we are getting there — one project, one brick and one helping hand at a time. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who believes in Haven and continues to support our journey.
