What a privilege to be able to bear witness of a loving God. God has always loved us. We just had to be touched by His love to realize it. It is His love that draws us to Him, and enables us to have a relationship with Him. We love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19).
When we understand how deeply God’s love for us is grounded, and how good He really is, even in our human mental capacity, then we cannot help but share Jesus’ love with the world, because we do not want the world to miss out on something as good as that. Abiding in Him allows us access to and knowledge of this great love as it becomes a part of us. A direct results of this is our overflowing cup that influences the world around us. This love makes us complete and whole again. It brings life to the dead places. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved (Ephesians 2:4-5).
He formed you perfectly when you were in your mother’s womb. He thought of you and decided you were enough for Him to go through a crucifixion.
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Psalm 34:8)
We don’t even have to sell God’s love and His goodness, we just have to see received it from Him and share it for exactly what it is.
Ask yourself what aspect of His love are you and I missing? Have we perhaps watered down His love and forgotten what its weight is or perhaps just become accustomed to it? Trust God to reveal the fullness of His love and goodness to you anew. From this, I trust that the Father will give us even more boldness to share His love.
God is love! God is good!
Do you believe the fullness of it?
