Letter To Reno Omokri part 1
Re: Femi Otedola bicycle ride in Singapore.
Dear Reno Omokri,
We all have a story to tell.
Let me start with China and India's one child policy; they mandated their citizens to embrace that policy otherwise the government would only support one child from each family. What are these government supports; child grant from birth until 18 years, free education, old age grants (pension) for citizens over a certain age till death, free Medicare, good infrastructure, zero corruption policy and till this day China does not spare the life of any government official who embezzle government funds. If you encourage our citizens to shut their mouths and watch out government officials and their children lavish their looted public funds our economy will never ascend the perfect throne where citizens will at least drink water and keep their cups.
When your ten year old investment grows at the rate of one year old something is wrong somewhere and you are bound to probe and investigate your workers and restructure your business. If Nigeria's economy grows at 4% instead of 8 due to the conspicuous corruption in the country, do not expect all citizens to dance to your praise song. In China most of these Nigerians you protect and project their image would be 'past tense' by now for being part of the reasons their economy suffers or suffered a downturn at a stage or the other.
Being the son of a councillor in Nigeria where there is no accountability is enough reason to be a billionaire and we all know this even though some of us pretend not to, because they benefit from these looters of our government funds. Sir Michael Otedola was a Lagos State governor in the 90's and Femi Otedola is his son, so figure out the rest for yourself.
Dear Reno, judging by the Naija chop and clean mouth factor, if Femi Otedola the son of ex Lagos State governor was poor and I was rich even though my late father never held any government office, then there's an error somewhere and the late Fela Anukulapo Kuti who was a man of justice and equity was wrong with his criticisms of various government officials for their economic sabotage.
Dear Reno, you live in a country where their systems work and so do I and we honestly know that Nigeria is no where infrastructure wise where the citizens are bound to be happy. Remember that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
When will Nigeria begin to pay government grants (pensions) to old citizens above 60 years just like in the country you live in and so does it in the country I live in? How about child support from the working government for children from 0 to 18 years, when will Nigeria provide it?
Dear Reno, google NSFAS, an educational program in South Africa provided by the government which encourages South Africans to study in Higher institutions and tell me why won't Nigerians criticise their government officials for their failures?
Education is the key that opens all doors. While you condemn those especially the illiterates who raise too many children that they can cater for remember that their lack of education is a contributory factor.
The part 2 of my comment will follow soon.... For now, let me go back to my sleep.
Dear Reno, make U no delete my comment ooo.... We need to open the eyes of our people and together we will reach the promise land in style.
