The institution is rooted in the Christian faith and was established with the primary goal to reach out and minister children, illustrating the heart and love of Jesus for children. We strive for a positive change in South Africa and believe that it needs to start with the education of our children and specifically our toddlers.

At this stage we have 6 classes in our Pre-school, 2 classes in Grade R, 2 classes in Grade 1-7. As the children are far behind in all areas of development, it is critical to limit the number of learners per class in order to ensure that they receive optimal attention and stimulation. The school programme focuses on developing the children in all areas and aspects of their lives. Their lingual, visual and motor skills as well as the development of perception are addressed on a daily basis. Even the development of association, spelling and wording plays an important role. Apart from the school programme, the children are provided with breakfast, snack lunch.
Pure Hope School is for children that cannot afford to attend a crèche or school at any cost. The school accommodates children from the immediate environment including the nearby located squatter camp. WE STRIVE TO BRING HOPE TO A BROKEN WORLD
* All the children attending the school come from underprivilege circumstances and broken homes and have received very little stimulation in their lives. At Pure Hope School they are exposed to a new and positive world where we endeavour to broaden their perspective.
* We are in the position to detect children’s emotional and physical needs which are numerous and have the opportunity to handle problems and ensure that they receive proper care.
* Every child’s birthday is celebrated on the day with a birthday cake. Some children don’t even realise that it is their birthday.
* Volunteers join the school to provide individual attention to children. Pure Hope School is 100% dependent on sponsorships and volunteers in order to enable us to continue to care for the children.
