The Honey Jar vs The Honey Sachet 🍯
There was a woman who felt hungry…
not for food, but for something deeper.
For peace.
For answers.
For strength.
Then came the diagnosis.
Breast cancer.
And suddenly, everything felt like too much.
Too much information.
Too many decisions.
Too many emotions, all at once.
She told herself,
“If I’m going to do this, I have to do it properly…
understand everything, handle everything, be strong through everything…”
It felt like standing with a full jar of honey in her hands.
Golden.
Good.
But heavy.
Too much to carry all at once.
And slowly, the thought crept in…
“I can’t do this.”
But in that quiet, overwhelming moment,
it was as if God gently whispered:
“You don’t have to carry the whole jar.”
Instead, He gave her something else.
Not a jar…
but a small honey sachet.
Measured.
Just enough.
And this time, it didn’t overwhelm her.
It was soft. Manageable. Enough.
For today.
She began to take it one moment at a time —
one appointment, one conversation, one breath.
One prayer.
One tear.
One small step forward.
And slowly, she realised…
she didn’t need to understand everything.
She didn’t need to carry everything.
Because grace doesn’t come all at once.
It comes in small portions.
Just enough for this moment.
Just enough for today.
And as she received…
she began to give.
A kind word.
A shared story.
A moment of understanding for another woman walking the same road.
At Breasties For Life, we see this every day.
You don’t have to carry the whole jar.
We walk with you —
one small step, one “honey sachet” at a time 💗
