Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit organisation, run entirely by volunteers (engineers and non-engineers), with the aim to improve the quality of life of members of the community in a sustainable and appropriate manner. The UP chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is run by students that are registered at the University of Pretoria. We aim to introduce students to other professionals i

n the engineering field, and to provide students from all faculties with the opportunity to get involved in improving the quality of life of members of disadvantaged communities. Every student can (and is encouraged) to become part of the EWB-UP society, as it not only has a lot of opportunities for students (like JCP projects) but it also will be good for satisfying personal accomplishments!
