Today, we honour not only mothers, but every woman whose love, kindness, strength, and gentle heart have touched the lives of others. 💖

To the mothers raising children, the grandmothers holding families together, the women who have lost loved ones, the elderly women spending today quietly, and even those who may feel forgotten, today, we celebrate you. 🌷

Some women carry families with their strength. Some carry memories in their hearts. Some carry loneliness silently behind their smiles. But every woman who has given love, comfort, wisdom, encouragement, or care has made this world a softer and more beautiful place.

Some moments are simply too special not to share… 💖

Our High Tea held on the 17th of March 2026 was a day where hearts connected, laughter echoed, and beautiful memories were made. Hosting 40 incredible elderly women reminded us once again of the power of kindness, community, and togetherness.
The room was alive with smiles, meaningful conversations, and a warmth that can only come from people coming together with love and care. For many of our guests, this was more than just a gathering, it was a treasured opportunity to step out, to be part of something special, and to build new friendships.

Our Director, Ms. Elizabeth Bouwer, inspired and uplifted our guests with her heartfelt words, reminding each woman of her worth and strength. She also spent time connecting personally with some of our guests, listening to their stories and capturing their experiences. Mr. Luke Enslin once again filled the room with laughter, bringing light-hearted joy to an already beautiful day.
We remain so grateful to every member of Afri Vroue Fonds who helped bring this day to life, and to our generous donors, your support truly makes a difference. Without you, moments like these would not be possible.

What a truly beautiful and heartwarming day it was… 💖
On the 17th of March, we had the incredible privilege of hosting 40 wonderful elderly women at our Afri Vroue Fonds High Tea. The room was filled with laughter, warm smiles, and precious moments that will forever live in our hearts.

For many of our guests, this was not just a function, it was a meaningful outing. A chance to step away from the everyday, to connect, to share stories, and to make new friends. Moments like these remind us how important it is to create spaces where everyone feels valued, seen, and loved.
