Legacy’s Grief, Trauma & Depression Care Group (Through the Looking Glass)

We are a group of professionals & entrepreneurs from Legacy Beauty Lounge. Through our own traumatic real-life stories and lessons learnt we established this Group so we can reach out and help anybody who suffers with Trauma, Grief and Depression, through Talk Therapy. An organization offering friendship, trust, loyalty, hope and understanding to all bereaved parents, siblings, grandparents, other family members and friends battling to cope with the loss of a loved one. The group provides a platform where we can share our stories safely. Our objective is to reach out with love and hope to anyone battling with trauma, Grief or depression and help them to realize that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, there is hope that they can face tomorrow, they can feel better about their circumstances.

We ultimately want the word “Understand” to mean the following: “The healing power of even the most microscopic exchange with someone who knows in a flash precisely what you’re talking about because she experienced that same thing too, cannot be overestimated”.

In other words, when one says “I know how you must be feeling, I understand........ .its because they’ve experienced the same thing”. We want to make this platform a beautiful place for you, a place you can really begin to feel better, know you are loved, know you are not alone, where members can find a commonality and connect with each other with meaning, purpose, hope and friendship.
