About YAF:
Young Achievers Foundation (YAF) is based in Soshanguve but aim to spread out to other provinces around South Africa especially in disadvantaged areas. YAF is a Media inspired youth organization that aims to educate, emancipate, entertain, encourage, empower, support and assist the youth of South Africa. We have a team of 21 creative, energetic, selfless and change driven young people
who are our members. These young people are from townships such as Mamelodi, Ekangala, Tembisa, Soshanguve, Ga-Rankuwa, Mabopane, Atteridgeville, Temba and Alexander. And we have 6 members who serve on the board of directors as well as 4 trustees/patrons. We have had projects such as Christmas parties, Fun Fares and Education Drive where about a hundred of children that we have adopted from 4 homes that we normally invite have each year and educational programmes with run in conjunction with both primary and high school around Pretoria. Our main priorities do not only lie with the youth but children, women, men and the elderly. Our Vision:

To provide services, programs and systems that support positive growth and development by uniting the voices of young individuals who have lived experience in various systems of life. Our Background:
We are in the developing stage with about three years of existence as a un-regstered structure. We have done mostly work with children from orphanage homes where projects like these were born out of the love of children: Ama Starz Christmas Party, Ama Starz New Year’s Party, Ama Starz Fun fare, Ama Starz Education (Back-To-School) Drive, Ama Starz Toy Drive, Ama Starz Books Drive and so many others
Our Services:
Motivational Talks at schools, Business and Finance seminars, Health Seminar and Self-Awareness Workshop, Grooming workshops, Mentorship programs, Career Expos, Film, Book, Poetry, Arts, and Music Festivals, Dialogues, book clubs and so forth. Our Projects:
We are working in partnering with the department of Communications to establish a youth journal, a youth talk radio station and a music/film and TV production company and a Media publishing company. Our Programmes:
