The Companies Tribunal presented a guest lecture at the University of the Free State in partnership with the Department of Mercantile Law, the Student Engagement Office and Legal Behemoth.

The lecture aimed to empower students in the field of Company Law, with a specific focus on the Tribunal's extended jurisdiction and the appointment of retired judges. We also shared information on career and learning opportunities available at the Companies Tribunal.

Empowering SMMEs and Start-ups to Become Funding-Ready

The National Empowerment Fund partnered with 4IRI to bring its services to the Salt River community in Cape Town through a workshop aimed at empowering SMMEs and entrepreneurs.

The Companies Tribunal participated in the event to present its mandate, services, and role in supporting accessible companies dispute resolution.

The workshop provided practical insights into the complementary roles of government entities in strengthening service delivery and supporting enterprise development across South Africa.

By raising awareness of its cost-effective and efficient alternative dispute resolution services, the Companies Tribunal contributes to a more enabling environment for SMMEs nationwide.
